We believe that every child is special, that’s why we pride ourselves in taking extra special care of your little one, from infant to school age… Your little one will learn about his/her world and his/herself through a combination of free play, creative expression and structured learning.

As a family owned and operated Baby and Day Care Center, our caring and experienced staff are part of our family and yours. With consistent classroom presence and passion it is our pleasure to guide each child on there amazing path to self discovery.

Learing through Play

At Sunflower Lane our moto is learning through play, we believe that learning through play ensures that each child receives the necessary skills that are acquired through fun learning programs.

Our qualified teachers and caregivers prepare daily activities to stimulate the cognitive, physical, emotional and social needs of each child. Children are assessed twice yearly with feedback given via parent-teacher meetings and progress reports.

Creative Activities

Green Fingers – (Gardening) We have a specially allocated section in our garden where our little ones can put there gardening skills to the test during the summer months. Here children are encouraged to plant there own seeds and tend to there flowers or vegetables and see the fruits of there labor bloom and grow!

Our children also take part in creative activities, such as painting, anti-waste construction, play dough manipulation, baking, cutting, drawing and threading.

Our babies and toddlers aged 3 months to 36 months are also encouraged to partake in structured, fun-filled, daily activities which ensures their developmental needs are met. Potty training and hygiene forms an important part of the routine for this age group.

Our daily program includes the following activities: Gross and Fine motor co-ordination Singing Dancing Music Language stimulation Numeracy Literacy Perceptual activities Construction play Perceptual games.

Meals

Meals For our full day children a cooked porridge, one snack as well as a nutritious hot lunch is available daily. And for our Half day children a cooked porridge and one snack is available daily.
